The security door from Thursday 28 January will now ALWAYS be locked. This preventative measure which is in place in all Aberdeenshire schools ensures that the main door is never accidently left open when pupils are in school. Pupils at lunch and break can ask for the “pupil” card that will be carried by the playground supervisors, to allow pupils into the school for the toilet, in the mornings pupils should “Buzz” (08.40am onwards) for adult help.
A Litter pick has been arranged for around the village on Thursday 22 April. Volunteers will be made most welcome!
Watson’s of Inverurie have very kindly donated an assortment of vegetable seeds for us to nurture in our greenhouse or to plant at Bonnyton gardens. The children will have great fun reaping what they have sowed.
We are now collecting vouchers available from Tescos. These vouchers will help us buy new equipment for the school, a big thank you in advance for your help with this.
A reminder to all parents that if your child is absent from school, please contact the school office before 09:15, it also now unacceptable for us to receive an explanation from a sibling, it must be from a parent/carer by note or phone call.
Friday 19 March will be the last community cafe for this term. There is still time to complete and return your questionnaire to help with the improvements. We plan to re-launch the the Community Cafe in the new term.
